Late Night at Church with Aidan

Trevor and his friend Aidan went to an event at our church called Late Night.  Kids in 3rd - 5th grade got together and do fun challenges, eat pizza and watch and illusionist. There were excited because they got to stay at the church until 10 pm and then came back to our house for a sleep over.

I picked them up and they had paint all over their faces.  Their teams name was The Moustachios.  Apparently at one point they all had moustaches painted on their faces but it came off during the challenges.  Trevor had a blast having his friend over and fell asleep 20 minutes after he left.

 



Cub Scout Laser Tag

This week our Cub Scout Pack had a laser tag event.  The boys LOVED it!

Sadly, I couldn't get any pictures of Trevor because he was too far away.

Pie Eating Contest

Last week we had our back to school BBQ at school. During the BBQ we had a pie eating contest against the principle.  Cole and I were both chosen to compete.  The pie consisted of chocolate pudding, graham cracker crust, whip cream and sprinkles.  Cole hated the taste but did the best job he could.

Soccer Camp 2016

Cole did Soccer camp again this summer.  He loves the camp but hates playing soccer on a team.

Evergreen Fair 2016

We took the boys to their first fair over Labor Day weekend.  Trevor had a blast on the rides.  Cole was a bit scared so wouldn't go on much.

First Day of School 2016

The boys started school on September 6th. 

 

Trevor is in 5th grade this year.  He will be homeschooling 3 days a week and going to Parade the other two.  He is really into Titanic so we have been learning about that.  He is very excited for his zombie outbreak (geography) class and his computer class.

Cole is in 2nd grade this year.  He is still going to public school.  He is not happy about the summer being over and is not wanting to do his homework.  He will be starting a robotics class after school in October that he is really excited about.

Two of Cole's best friends are in his class and sit right next to him.  He has a great teacher and once he gets used to going back to school I know he will have a great year.
