Pinewood Derby 2014

Yesterday was the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby.  Trevor made his car look like a Creeper from Minecraft.  He loved seeing it race.  We didn't think it would do very good due to it's boxy design but he actually did okay.

Hike: Oxbow Nature Trail

Basque Monument Hike

Today we went on a hike with Grandma.  She took us on a short hike to see the Basque Monument and a special surprise.

 

The surprise was a swing.  Cole loved it and spun in circles for several minutes.

Cole's first lost tooth

On the 14th of March Cole lost his first tooth.  I noticed his tooth was getting looser so we were working on his tooth pillow.  I asked him to pick out some buttons for the eyes so he used his teeth to open the container.  As he was trying to open it out popped his tooth.  The look on his face was priceless.  He was super excited for his first tooth fairy visit.
