Experience Music Project 2015

We took the boys to the Experience Music Project yesterday.  They had a Hello Kitty exhibit which was interesting.  The boys liked the computer game room the best.  They also had some rooms with costumes from Sci-fi, Fantasy and Horror movie.

Great Wolf Lodge 2015

We took the boys to Great Wolf Lodge as their main Christmas present.  This was our first time to visit so we were all super excited and had no real idea what to expect.  We knew there would be a water park but had no idea about the Magi Quest.  The lodge was decorated for Christmas and would "snow" a couple times a day.  The first thing we did was get our wands for the Magi Quest.  This turned out to be so tiring but a ton of fun.  You had to follow the clues to find the next thing.  We were running up and down 5 floors of stairs repeatedly for two days.  We woke up sore every day.  The boys loved their first water park experience.  We had to climb several stories of stairs to get the the big tube rides.  The theme for the weekend was definitely...Stairs!

Christmas 2015

We had a great Christmas this year.  We started out Christmas eve with bowling and homemade pizza.  We made sure to put out some cookies and milk for Santa.  Trevor had a rough night and didn't sleep at all so I stayed up with him and watched Christmas movies.  It was his first time seeing The Christmas Story.  He loved it and laughed the whole way through.  Cole woke up at 5:45 and quickly went and woke Craig up. After tearing through their gifts they spent the rest of the day playing and watching movies.

 Instead of a big gift we took the boys to Great Wolf Lodge for a couple days.  They had to unscramble the letters before finding out what their gift was.

Cole's First Wrestling Match

Cole had his first wrestling match today.  He wrestled 3 times.  Two times were against boys that are in their second year.  He wrestled once against a girl from his club.  He did really well and tried hard for every match.  He won one match and lost two.  He had a great time and was eager to learn from all the different coaches there.  Next tournament is in January.

Reflections 2015

The boys entered the Reflections art contest at school.  The theme for the year is Let Your Imagination Fly.  Trevor submitted a picture of Cole wearing a cape and mask on a tire swing and Cole submitted a collage.  Trevor was not able to attend the ceremony due to cub scouts.  They had pictures of the art work on the screen and the kid that made them stood up front while they read their artist statements.  Trevor's piece won honorable mention and Cole's advanced to the next round.  Cole's piece will be judged against all the kids from the school district.  If he does well there he will go on to the state level.  Both boys did a great job and they were super proud of themselves.

PTSA Board Christmas Party 2015

We had our PTSA board Christmas party last night.  It was an ugly sweater theme and these ladies went all out.  I am so thankful for such an awesome group of women to work with.
