Mount Rose Hike

We went hiking up at Mount Rose this morning.  There is an interpretive trail that is the perfect distance for Cole to hike.  We saw lots of twisted trees and caught a little frog.  It was nice to be up in the mountains with the trees.

Birds of Prey

Grandma took Cole to see the Birds of Prey.  He got to see several birds including falcons and owls.  A falcon even landed on his head.  He really enjoyed it and was excited to see the birds so close.

 



Trevor's First Day of 2nd Grade

Trevor starts 2nd grade today.  He is very nervous but I know he will do great once he gets to school.  He is growing up way to fast.

Hiking: Tahoe Falls

The boys are in Vegas for a few days with Nana and Pepaw so Craig and I decided to take a hike.  It was nice to hike without the boys asking if we are almost done or having to carry one of them.  I love waterfalls so we chose to hike a trail in Lake Tahoe that leads to a waterfall.  It was a fairly easy 5 mile round trip hike that was very scenic.  Parts of the trail we could see Lake Tahoe in the distance which is always a treat.  It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.  Thanks for taking the boys Nana and Pepaw.
