Trevor turns 10!

Trevor turned 10 this week.  He was so excited.  He requested donuts for breakfast.  He was excited to wake up to find not only the donuts but a HUGE balloon as well.  We have a surprise slumber party planned for next weekend.  I can't wait to see his face when he walks in to find his friends and a Minecraft video game party.

 He picked out his own cake.  He kept saying, "It even has candles included so it saves us money."

Cole's cub scout den visited the fire station.  They were excited to see the trucks and the firemen dressed up but they were most excited about hanging out with their buddies.

Flower Planting Lesson

Now that Trevor is being home schooled it gives us more time to learn about the things we want to learn about.  My friend is a flower farmer and is teaching Trevor about the processes she goes through to get the flowers.  This week he took Ranunculus starts from the green house and planted them in the ground.  He also planted a Dahlia tuber that he will be tracking to see how it grows.  He was so excited and jumped right to help plant the flowers.  He asked a lot of great questions and asked if he could be her flower farmer apprentice.

Wrestling Picture Day

Cole's wrestling club had group pictures last week.  It took them over 30 minutes to get all the boys set up right.  Afterwards they did a group huddle.
