Summer 2015 Road Trip to Hermiston and Seaside

Grandma came up for our annual summer road trip.  She stayed with us for a couple of days and then we headed to Hermiston to see my brother and his family.  From there we went to Seaside for a quick beach trip.

While in Seattle we went to Snoqualmie Falls.  The boys wanted us to take pictures with every log they saw.  It was a fun morning.

 The boys loved seeing their cousins in Hermiston.  We went to a couple of parks, the swimming pool and of course, we had ice cream.

 Finally to the beach.  We were blessed with a couple of super beautiful days with very little wind.  We walked both the Seaside and Cannon Beach Beaches, went to the aquarium and explored the town.  It was a quick but fun trip.

Minion Movie

Trevor's orthodontist had their annual movie day for their clients.  They took us all to the minion movie.  They gave out t-shirts with minions wearing braces, paper goggles, soda, popcorn and lots of prizes.  Trevor saw one of his school friends there so was super excited to sit by him during the movie. What a fun event.

Soccer Camp 2015

This past week Cole went to soccer camp at the high school.  The high school boys and girls soccer teams taught the camp.  Cole had a blast and is super excited for soccer to start in August.

After picking raspberries, I decided to try my hand at canning raspberry jam.  I didn't get very far before Charlie took over the canning pot.  It was his perfect little spot for quite awhile.

Bring your kid to work day 2015

July 1st was bring you kid to work day at Microsoft.  The boys got their own "work" badges to wear during the event.  There were bounce houses, games, petting zoo and lots of other activities.  We even did a dine in movie.

Mud Factor 2015

The boys did the Mud Factor run today.  It has several climbing and mud obstacles as well as a giant slip and slide.  They had a blast and asked to do it again next year.
