Nutcrackers 2014

The Westgate Mall in Seattle had a bunch of different nutcrackers. The boys wanted to pose with a couple of them.

Gingerbread Village 2014

We went to the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Seattle yesterday to see the Gingerbread Village.  There were 6 displays set up.  Here are a few pictures of the displays.

Trevor's 3rd grade music program

Tonight was Trevor's 3rd grade music program.  They have been working for 2 months so he was super excited to show us.  Before the program he had to have a picture with his friend Danner.  Of course Cole had to be right in the middle of it.
Trevor and Danner on stage "hanging" Christmas lights during the program.
This is the first year Trevor actually sang the songs.  Afterwards he told us he was just moving his mouth.

Trevor with the gingerbread house prop after the program.  He was so proud.  I just wish his lip wasn't all red from sucking on it.

Christmas Ships 2014

Tonight we went to watch the Christmas Ships.  Every night in December the ships float around with lights and some sort of entertainment.  It was neat to see a bunch of boats lit up in one spot.  Below is a video of the ships and the performers.

Duvall Tree Lighting 2014

Last night we went to the Duvall tree lighting.  It was a very fun experience.  It started out with everyone lined up along the main street. Santa came by in a horse drawn carriage.  As he went down the street the businesses would turn on their Christmas lights when he went by.  Then everyone followed him down to the park.  There were several booths giving away hot cider and cookies, games, and pictures with the Christmas Heifer.  Apparently that is a big tradition.  The line was long with people waiting their turn.  I will post that picture once we get it.  There was a stage set up that had several performances going on from Christmas carols to school choirs.  After awhile Santa came back in a fire truck and the "Christmas Tree" was lit.  It was such a fun small town experience.  It is fun to go downtown and you see several people you know.  We love our tiny town.

Wild Lights 2014-15

We went to Wild Lights at the Woodland Park Zoo.  The boys don't remember that we used to go in Phoenix so this was a whole new experience for them.  It was super cold but a lot of fun.  We hope to make this an annual tradition.

First Snow 2014-15

Over Thanksgiving weekend we got our first snow.  While I am not a huge fan of snow it was beautiful.  The boys played in it a bit and we took a couple of walks.
