Oregon trip

This past week the boys, my mom and I went on a road trip back to Hermiston Oregon to visit my brother and his family.  We broke the trip up so we didn't have to drive so far each day.

Monday we headed out early and made a couple stops on the way.  One was at a park in Jordan Valley OR. to have a picnic.  The boys wanted their picture taken next to this bell.

 We took a potty stop just inside the Oregon Idaho boarder.  Cole wanted his picture taken with this old wagon.

 We spent the night Monday in Baker City Or.  The next morning we got up early to "visit" my relatives in the cemetery.  We visited my Auntie, Grandpa Bill, Grandma Betty, Grandpa Rich and Grandma Tina.  It was my first time seeing my Grandpa Rich and Grandma Tina's grave so it was sad but their headstone is beautiful.

 Tuesday we drove the rest of the way to Hermiston.  We stayed there Tuesday and Wednesday night.  In addition to visiting family we went to the nature trails and the McNary Dam.

 The boys had a blast playing with Cousin Brady.

 Thursday we left Hermiston and went to Caldwell Idaho to visit more family.  We stopped to use the restroom at Immigrant Park and took a few pictures.

The boys and I spent Thursday night with Aunt Judi, Uncle Karl, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Sara, Courtney, Casey, Colby and Lexi.  I miss them a ton.  I wish I would have gotten more pictures.  On the way back to the hotel I called Craig and told him I want to move back to Boise.  I am so happy I got to see my family.  We plan to make a trip back soon.  Love you all!!

Cub Scout BBQ

We had the cub scout bbq today.  The boys had a blast catching tadpoles, having water bottle fights and competing in the raingutter regada.  It was a fun afternoon.

 Trevor won his first heat in the regada but lost in the 2nd.

 His boat was called Black Widow.  It was number 8 for 8 legs.  He was very proud of it.

Trevor's Kindergarten Graduation

Trevor had his kindergarten graduation this afternoon.  He was so excited.  The class sang 8 songs and then there was a slide show of pictures from the year.  The end of the slide show had pictures of each kid from the time they were born.  Afterwards there was a reception with cookies and juice.  I can't believe Trevor will start 1st grade in just 5 weeks.  He is growing up way too fast.

Trevor had his first golf lesson today.  He learned to putt, chip and drive.  They started by using big clubs and tennis balls today but will move on to their real clubs next lesson.

This past weekend we bought a trampoline.  It took a couple hours to put together while the boys waited impatiently.  They have been jumping like crazy ever since.  Here are a few action shots.

Friday we all went over to South Lake Tahoe for the annual Renaissance Faire. The boys had a great time seeing all the people dressed up and the jousting. They had face painting and Cole couldn't resist getting painted up like a pirate.
