We attended an Easter egg hunt at The Rock church this morning. The boys got their faces painted (Trevor a yellow spider and Cole an Easter bunny), did a craft and participated in the egg hunt. The boys had a great time and did a great job finding eggs.

Cole's 3rd Birthday Party
Yesterday we celebrated Cole's 3rd birthday. He chose Yo Gabba Gabba as his theme. There isn't much out for this show anymore so I had to make everything myself. It was a fun and colorful party and Cole loved it. Thanks to all of our great friends who came to celebrate with us. We love you guys!
We had 4 tables set up each representing a different character. We also had a small table with a yellow table cloth that represented Plex. This was our gift table.
This is the Toodee and Foofa tables.

Leprechaun Trap
Trevor wanted to make a Leprechaun trap this year. He thought forsure we would catch a baby leprechaun. He left two gold coins to lure the leprechaun and some Lego stairs so he could easily get to the coins. He even left a sign to tell the leprechaun Happy St. Patrick's Day. Sadly the leprechaun got away but did drop two quarters. Guess we will try again next year.

Trevor's Ear Surgery
Trevor has been trouble with his ears a lot lately. Between the double ear infections and not being able to hear us very well we decided to take him to have his hearing checked. He was not able to hear us nearly as well as he should so after some tests we were referred to an ear, nose and throat Dr. The Dr. confirmed that he wasn't hearing well due to all the fluid behind his ear drums. He scheduled Trevor to have tubes in his ears and possible have his tonsils removed. This past Friday was his surgery. We went in at 6 am to get registered and set up in his pre-op room. He changed into his operating pj's which were several sizes too big. He wasn't able to eat or drink anything so was extremely hungry but did very well. While waiting for surgery he blew up several gloves to play with.
Time for surgery.
Trevor had no idea what to expect so was super excited all morning. They told him he could have an otter pop as soon as he was done so he was ready to go. They said they have never seen anyone so excited for surgery. The surgery was quick and they didn't end up having to take his tonsils. It went really well and he is feeling much better.

Science Fair
Trevor participated in his first science fair. He chose to do a magnet experiment where you test 4 different magnets and see which picks up the most paper clips. He did the experiment and graph himself and I helped him with the display board. He was so excited to see that he got a certificate and ribbon.
