The boys loved their Halloween breakfast this morning. They had chocolate chip pancakes cut into shapes. The cat had some black sprinkles on it, pumpkin had orange sprinkles and the ghost had powdered sugar. They also had a ghost banana on a stick with chocolate chip eyes and milk.

Microsoft Trick or Treating
We have a fun busy week. Went on a tour of our city bus, Trevor's school Halloween Party, MOMS Club Halloween Party and pumpkin patch visit. On event that we look forward to is the annual Microsoft trick or treating event. The boys love to go to dads work and see his desk and co-workers. And of course there is all the candy.
Cole's Loot
Trevor's Loot
One person had put a can of tuna in the bowl of candy. I think to see if any kids would pick it over the candy. Of course, Trevor picked it and said "Look Mom, Dinner!"
RTC Bus Tour
We went on a tour of our city bus station with our MOMS Club this week. They picked us up at a local movie theater and took us to the bus station. They drove us through the bus wash which all the kids loved. They showed us the cities first bus and one of it's newest buses. The kids got to get their pictures taken while "driving" the bus. After they drove us back to the theater they gave the kids coloring books and pin wheels. The kids and moms all had a great time.

Lattin Farms
We took the boys to Fallon on Saturday to go to Lattin Farms. They boys chose to go on the cow train first. I have never seen a cow train move so fast.
Next we went to check out the animals. Cole loved feeding them little food pellets.
Trevor found a contraption where you put the food in a little bin and turn the crank. It slowly moves the little bins to the top and then dumps out the food at the top. There was a goat waiting at the top for the food to arrive.
The pumpkin tower
We went on a day where they had a scarecrow factory set up. You pick out some clothes and then stuff a pair of tights and the clothes with straw. We had a great time making our scarecrow but all itched afterwards.
Dad giving our scarecrow a ride to the car
The last thing we did was take a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. The boys each picked out a pumpkin to carve then waited patiently for the tractor to pick us up.
We had a great day at the pumpkin patch. We look forward to our next visit.

Trevor's First Tooth
Trevor had to have his to first tooth pulled today. His permanent tooth was growing in behind the baby tooth and it was not loosening the baby tooth. He looked pretty funny because the permanent tooth was almost the same height as the baby tooth. Anyway Trevor did great and didn't feel any pain at all. He is really excited for the tooth fairy to come visit him tonight. He already has his tooth in the monster tooth pillow I made him.
Last picture of the baby tooth
He had to keep the gauze in his mouth for 15 minutes to stop the bleeding. He kept asking what was wrong with his lip. It was all tingly.
No more tooth

Pyramid Lake
We took a little trip up the road to check out Pyramid Lake. It isn't warm enough to swim, so we walked on the beach and threw rocks into the water. It was much bigger then we expected and we hope to go back soon.

Bugs
Trevor has been really into bugs lately. Well more like bugs, spiders, snakes and any other insect or reptile thing. So when we were outside and he found a big bug he was so excited. I showed him how to carefully pick it up and he carried it around for a good hour. I was just happy it was still alive when he let it go.

Trevor's First Field Trip
Trevor had his first field trip yesterday to Andelin Farms. I am not sure if Trevor was more excited about the field trip or riding a bus for the first time.
Cole and I were able to go along with the kids but had to drive since Cole is too young to ride the bus.
Andelin Farms did a great job with the tour. The split the kids up into three groups. Trevor was in the pumpkin group. His group started about with a hay ride, then a craft and story time and finished with a tour of the animals. After that all the kids got back together and went to pick out a pumpkin. It was a fun day and I am so glad we got to experience it with him. My little man is growing up so fast.

Ferrari Farms Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch with our MOMS Club friends today. We rode on a hayride, picked pumpkins, did a corn maze and bounced in the bounce house. What a fun way to start the Halloween season.
