Fire Station Tour

We went on a tour of the fire station with our MOMS Club today  Both boy were so excited.  They showed us where they eat, sleep, watch TV, and slide down the fire pole.  They even did a demo for us.  We stood in the fire truck bay and watch a fireman slide down the pole, get his gear on and drive off in the truck.  He then came back and showed us the air tank they wear in fires and let the kids shake his hand and hug him so they wouldn't be afraid if they were ever in a fire.  It was very informative and fun.

Trevor's First Day of Kindergarten

Trevor started kindergarten today.  He was so excited.  There are 14 boys in his class and zero girls.  Should be an interesting class.

Sand Harbor

Nana and Pepaw are in town so we went to Sand Harbor to play on the beach.  The water was really cold so you couldn't do much more then walk in it but they loved playing in the sand.

  

Pee Wee Baseball Camp

The father of one of our MOMS Club members coaches high school baseball.  He offered to do a Pee Wee Baseball Camp for our kids today.  He taught them how to catch, hit and run the bases.  When they ran into home he gave them a baseball card.  After the baseball lesson we had hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and a baseball cake.  The boys talked about it the whole way home.  They both really enjoyed it.

Batch Cupcake Tour

Today we went on a tour of Batch Cupcakery with our MOMS Club.  They showed us where they make the cupcakes, how they make the frosting and where they store the sprinkles.  Then the kids got to frost and decorate their own cupcake.  It was a very yummy tour.

Northstar at Tahoe

Today we went over to Northstar.  We rode the gondolas up to the top and hiked around a bit.  There was some snow at the top so the boys played in it for a bit.
