First Awana Grand Prix

Trevor's Awana group had their Grand Prix this week. Craig and Trevor shaped the car, added weights and painted it silver. I helped him put the stickers on where he wanted them. He decided to be #5 since he is 5 years old.

Trevor's car is in the yellow lane.
He finished 3rd.

Cole wanted to sit next to Bubba and watch the cars race.

He was so excited that he won a ribbon for participating.

We took the boys to the circus this morning. They were both very excited to see all the animals and have cotton candy. Trevor really wanted to see the acrobats.

Cole kept calling this clown Santa. I told the clown and he said he is Santa and is just wearing the clown costume as a disguise. Cole looked for him during the whole circus and would yell Santa and point whenever he saw him.

Dangling!!

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day we had a scavenger hunt with our MOMS Club friends. The kids followed the shamrock clues to find the "Pot of Gold" which was filled with goody bags.

The boys got chalk in their goody bags so they decided to color the picnic table while I made dinner.

Tonight Trevor and I went to the Mother-Son Ball at his school. He was so excited to wear his new tie and go on a date with Mommy. As soon as we got to the dance Trevor asked to dance. My little boy is growing up. :(

The boys said they were going upstairs to play for awhile. A few minutes later I heard a loud thud so I went up to check on them. I came to Cole's room first to find this. Every drawer was emptied of it's clothes, all toy bins were empty and all the diapers and wipes were thrown around the room. I got to Trevor's room to find Cole sitting on his bed and Trevor standing on his tool bench emptying out his drawers. I said, "What are you doing?" He said, "Cole did it!!"

While I was making dinner tonight Cole made himself a drum set. He used my Pampered Chef steamer lid as the drum stick Notice the difference in the "drum stick" from picture one to picture two. Yes he broke the lid right in half. If he wasn't so cute I would have been very angry.

Yesterday we took the boys to a toddler theater in Carson City. They were able to play in the Children's Museum while we waited for the show to start.
Apparently at this theater the kids are part of the show. We did two stories, Brown Bear Brown Bear and Caps for Sale. Cole played the black sheep in Brown Bear Brown Bear.

Trevor played one of the hat stealing monkeys in Caps for Sale.

I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday when Trevor yelled "Mom, Cole put a toy in the toilet". This is what I walked in to find. Needless to say, we have a lot less bath toys then we did yesterday morning.
