Today was the Reno Duck Race. This is an event that helps homeless animals in our area. My MOMS Club had a team and our goal was to adopt 100 ducks at $5 each. We ended up beating our goal and adopting 106 ducks. At the race they dump all the adopted ducks (10, 000 of them) into the river and they race to the end. The winning ducks won prizes like a Jaguar or Disney world trip. There was a little carnival set up at the event so the boys got to play games and won some rubber duckies and duck whistles. Sadly no one I know won but we had a great time.

Today we took a little family trip over to Northstar. We rode the gondolas up to mid mountain and then took a second one to the top. It was beautiful. The weather was great and the boys loved the gondola ride.

Are you ready for some football?!?

We had a visitor show up in our yard the other day. The goose stayed for several hours just sitting in the grass under our pine tree. The boys (and Macy) loved looking out the window and pounding on the window to get its attention. Cole kept saying, "Hi!!"

We went to our friend Dylan's 2nd birthday party today. It was at Gymboree and had an Elmo theme. The boys had a blast.

Trevor did really good last week at school so we took him out for a special treat. We went to TCBY and let him pick out any flavor he wanted. Of course he picked the one with all the bright colors. When he was done his nose and lips were blue and pink.

We went to the Reno Aces Baseball game with our MOMS Club friends tonight. It was SO cold. It rained for awhile so there was a rain delay and was windy. We still had a good time hanging out with friends.

This morning Craig and Trevor went on a dudes morning out. Trevor decided he wanted to go mini golfing so they went over to Magic Carpet Golf. They had a great time and at the end both won a free game of golf.

Yesterday we spent the day at Hot August Nights. There is a week that Reno gets invaded by people from all over the country and their old cars. You can go to several casino parking lots and look at all the cars that people have out on display. It was a lot of fun looking at all the different cars and trucks. Our favorite was the monster truck (not sure if it was old or not :).

Last night I was cleaning out the linen closet and the boys decided to make it a fort. They thought it was funny to sit in there and hit their heads on the shelf above them.

Macy is almost 11 months now. She is so cuddly and sweet.
