Cole's First Tooth

Our smiley guy got his first tooth today. He has been drooling a lot but the Dr. said most kids get teeth closer to 6 months. Here is the first tooth at 4 1/2 months. It doesn't seem to be bothering him too much but man is it sharp.

We went on a tour of Dutchview Dairy with MOMS Club this morning. We went on a hay ride around the farm and saw what they eat, the calves and how they milk them. It was very interesting and fun to see the process.
As you can tell it was really hot.

Friday night we stayed in a hotel since we had an earlier flight. Trevor LOVED the elevator. He wanted to go up and down a million times. Every time he got off he would say, "Thank You Elevator."

We got up early one morning and went out to the Nature Trails. It was so nice and relaxing. Trevor loved all the bridges and paths. Cole slept through the whole thing.

On our way back from visiting my family in Caldwell we grabbed lunch and stopped at Hilgard Park. Trevor was super excited and ran straight for the river. He had a blast floating on his tummy and splashing around.

We took a ride on the Mt. Hood Railroad. It was a 4 hour trip with a stop in the middle for lunch. While on the train we were robbed by train robbers.

We took the boys to Enchanted Forest in Salem Oregon. I went there as a kid so was excited to take my boys there. It was a bit run down but Trevor had a blast. He loved looking through all the little houses and going on the rides.

Trevor's Swim Lesson

Trevor finished his swim lessons today. He did really good and swam across the pool by himself.

Cole's 4 month Dr Appt and first meal

Cole had his 4 month Dr Appt on Wednesday. He weighed 16 lbs 14 1/4 oz. and was 26" long. He is in the 85th % for both height and weight.
The Dr also told us to start Cole on cereal. Here is some pictures of his first meal and a video.

Trevor went to a free golf lesson this morning. They taught him to putt and drive. Trevor liked putting at Banana Pants (the monkey in the middle).

Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A. We dressed up and met some friends from MOMS Club for lunch. If you dressed up as a cow you got a free meal. Trevor was so excited. He loved wearing his tail and ears.

Trevor's buddy Jack came over to play this week. I heard them talking in his room so peaked in. They were laying on the floor "reading" a book about dinosaurs. Jack would ask "What is this one?" Trevor would say, "It's a Triceratops (or whatever dino it was)."

We went to storytime at a local bookstore. They read a story about Curious George then he came out and met the kids. Trevor so super excited. He did really good waiting in line until it was his turn. Then he ran up and hugged George. Cole even thought he was pretty neat.

We got Cole a bumbo today. He sat in it pretty good but his head is still a little wobbly so he kept tipping over a bit.

Craig had the day off for the 4th of July so we took the boys to Pump It Up. They were having a Happy Birthday America celebration. Trevor had so much fun. After they jumped, we had pizza and did a craft. Trevor was so worn out he asked for a nap when we got home. Gotta love that.
