Halloween 2015

It rained a lot on Halloween.  So much that the roads were closed leaving Duvall due to flooding.  Luckily it stopped for a bit and we were able to Trick or Treat in downtown Duvall.  Afterwards we went to Pumpkin Fest at church.  We trick or treated all the decorated doors, played on inflatables and had snacks. Boys got a lot of compliments on their costumes which they loved.

School Halloween Parties

Today was the boys school Halloween parties.  Trevor's class played bingo, ate lots of spooky foods and played a wrap the mummy game. Cole's class did a couple crafts and decorated cupcakes.  The whole school did a costume parade through the school.  My Ghostbusters had a great day.

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

The boys spent last weekend with Grandma and Grandpa in Ocean Beaches, WA.   They went to a military museum, went swimming and walked on the beach.  We met them at Bass Pro Shop and went bowling in their sea themed bowling alley.  The boys had a great weekend.

Scout Minecraft First Aid Training

The local Boy Scout troops had a Minecraft first aid training event this weekend.  They needed a few Weeblos I and II cub scouts to be their "victims".  Trevor said yes as soon as he heard the word Minecraft.  When he arrived they gave him some head wounds and a broken collar bone. He then pretended to be a victim while the boy scouts administered first aid.  He had a great time and was excited he was able to participate.

First Day of School 2015- 4th and 1st grade

The boys started their 4th and 1st grade years today.  Trevor is in Miss Anderson's class and Cole is in Mrs. Carlson's class.  Both boys were super excited to see their friends today.  It was sprinkling while taking pictures but as soon as the bus rolled up to the school it started pouring.  While all the kids were soaked there was a lot of excitement and smiled.

Sadly Trevor is not in the same class as his best friend.  He did see him at recess which he was excited about.

We went over to a friends house today for a play date.  Part of her "yard" includes a creek.  We hiked down and played for quite awhile.  The boys had a blast playing with their buddies Stone and Brody.

Summer 2015 Road Trip to Hermiston and Seaside

Grandma came up for our annual summer road trip.  She stayed with us for a couple of days and then we headed to Hermiston to see my brother and his family.  From there we went to Seaside for a quick beach trip.

While in Seattle we went to Snoqualmie Falls.  The boys wanted us to take pictures with every log they saw.  It was a fun morning.

 The boys loved seeing their cousins in Hermiston.  We went to a couple of parks, the swimming pool and of course, we had ice cream.

 Finally to the beach.  We were blessed with a couple of super beautiful days with very little wind.  We walked both the Seaside and Cannon Beach Beaches, went to the aquarium and explored the town.  It was a quick but fun trip.
