Halloween 2014

Here are some of the pictures from Halloween this year.  I was able to help in both boys classrooms for their Halloween party which was a lot of fun.

Boys carving pumpkins

In Trevor's class we played a mummy game.  Trevor was the mummy for his team and the other boys wrapped him with toilet paper.
There was about 18 layers on his face.
Playing pin the smile on the skeleton
 Trevor and his buddy Danner
Cole decorated pumpkins at his party
The boys in their costumes.  Cole was a Ninja and Trevor was a Zombie Hunter.

Cub Scouts- Cougar Mountain Zoo Tour

We went on a tour of Cougar Mountain Zoo with Trevor's cub scout den.  The zoo had several reindeer which was neat to zoo.  We also got to see a bunch of macaw talk.  It was a fun morning with our new cub scout friends.

Heritage Festival

This weekend our town had it's annual heritage festival.  It was fun to see all the demonstrations and activities.  The boys painted pictures, made rope and ground corn.

Alpaca Farm

We went on a tour of a local alpaca farm.  The boys got to pet and feed alpacas, goats, chickens and a goose.  Their favorite part was going on a crazy tractor ride.  The driver raised and lowered the bucket and the boys would scream and laugh.

Farm Tours

Last weekend we went on a tour of a couple local farms.  The boys loved picking their own veggies, going on a wagon ride, a cucumber scavenger hunt and making smores.  It was a very fun day.

First Day of School 2014

Today is the first day of school.  Cole starts kindergarten and Trevor is in 3rd.  Cole was so excited.  He will be in all day kindergarten so he helped pack his lunch and get his back pack ready.  Trevor was a little more nervous.  There are 15 boys and 5 girls in his class.  He has his own desk this year so he is excited to put his supplies in there.  So far the school has been very organized and everyone is friendly.  It is going to be a great school year.
